TICKETS
All tickets to Palais Theatre events are sold via Ticketmaster and the Palais Theatre. Please note that both the Palais Theatre and Ticketmaster sell from the same allocation of tickets!
To contact Ticketmaster: http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/, call 136 100 or visit your nearest Ticketmaster outlet. To contact Palais Theatre: call (03) 9525 3240 or visit the theatre between Mon-Fri 9:00am-11:30am / 12noon-3pm.
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Tickets must be reported to Ticketmaster prior to 4.00pm on event day.
Please call 136 100 (between 9am - 9pm, Monday - Saturday and 9am - 5pm on Sunday) with all of your account and payment details in front of you or email customer.help@ticketmaster.com.au with all of your account and payment details.
Prepaid Ticket Collection: The credit card holder, whose name is on the Credit Card, is the only person who can collect a prepaid ticket. The Credit Card used to purchase the ticket(s) and photo I.D must be presented at time of pick up.
On the event night Venue Ticket Collections are available from 1 hour prior to the doors opening to the theatre (as stated on your ticket) from the Ticket Sales window located at the front of the theatre.
Wheelchair/Disability Seating: Patrons with accessibility issues should speak to Ticketmaster on 136 100 (Select Option 1 "Ticket Sales" then Option 2 "Wheelchair/Special Needs Ticketing"). before purchasing tickets. For information regarding theatre access and toilets please see the 'Accessibility and local facilities' tab on the left hand side of this page.
The Palais Theatre strongly advise that people only purchase tickets through the Palais Theatre, Ticketmaster or it's authorised ticketing agent. Any person who has purchased their ticket through third parties such as online auctions, risk being denied entry into the venue.
In the event that a patron is refused entry or removed from the venue during any part of the performance, in accordance with stated conditions, under no circumstances will a refund be offered on the ticket price.
Please note that the time stated on your ticket is the time the doors to the theatre open- please see the 'What's On' tab above for the running times of the event you are attending.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
For the safety of yourself and others, patrons must follow the direction of Palais Theatre management and staff at all times. If a patron becomes aware of any risk or issue, please report it to a Palais Theatre staff member or security member immediately.
All Patrons must have a valid ticket to gain entry to events. One patron per ticket. This is also your pass out and should be kept on you at all times.
It is a condition of entry into events that a search of person or possessions may be required.
No alcohol, glass containers or opened drink containers can be brought into the venue.
Patrons will be required to cloak all items greater than an A4 size or at the management's request. A cloak room is available for every event.
Food products that may cause discomfort to other patrons will not be permitted.
The Palais Theatre is strictly a smoke free venue and any patron found smoking within the venue will be ejected. There are designated smoking areas available outside the theatre entrance.
No photography: The use of professional, large, SLR cameras (with detachable lenses), audio and video equipment by patrons is at the discretion of the Artist and is prohibited at the vast majority of events. In some cases, small personal cameras with no detachable lens, may be allowed. There is to be no flash photography at any time.
Mobile telephones and other electronic devices are to be turned off during the performance.
The Palais Theatre has 4 licensed bars in the upstairs Foyer. No alcohol or glassware is permitted inside the auditorium or downstairs. The Palais Theatre strictly adheres to Responsible Serving of Alcohol practices. Patrons deemed to be intoxicated and/or affected by drugs will not be served alcohol, and may be removed from the venue or refused entry.
INSIDE THE THEATRE
All patrons must enter the auditorium via the area stated on their ticket (Orchestra, Stalls, Lounge or Dress Circle) and must sit in the seat allocated to them as stated on their ticket.
Standing/Dancing in the aisles is not permitted at any time during the performance.
Please note that seating in the Lounge Rows A-D is strictly no standing or dancing as stated on your ticket, and at point of purchase.
For everyone's enjoyment of the performance, standing and dancing at your seat will be assessed by Palais Staff on an event by event basis.
If the majority of patrons in a certain area are standing, patrons may be allowed to stand. However, If at any time the enjoyment of the performance for other patrons is inhibited by patrons standing, these patrons will be required to remain seated or may be offered an alternative place to dance. Patrons are asked to consider the enjoyment of all patrons.
Where a patron feels that their enjoyment of the performance is being compromised in any way, please see a Palais Theatre staff member immediately so that a solution to your problem can be found, in order for you to enjoy the rest of the performance, rather than waiting until after the show has concluded.
Any patron found behaving in a manner that threatens the safety of the performers, staff or other patrons or reasonably interferes with the other patron's enjoyment of the performance, will be removed from the venue.
Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break during the performance.
